1. NETANYAHU: WE WILL GET WORLD SYMPATHY FOR OUR STRENGTH
by Arutz Sheva Staff

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu praised the visits of the presidents of Chad and the Czech Republic at the start of the weekly Likud Faction meeting Monday.

"Today we will receive a personal friend of mine, a huge friend of Israel, the president of the Czech Republic, and yesterday there was another president of an important African country with a Muslim majority," Netanyahu said.

"The first thing that the president of the Czech Republic said was 'next year in Jerusalem and I will transfer the Czech embassy to Jerusalem.'

"The President of Chad asked me to visit Chad, and I gladly agreed," he added. "We are opening up to the world. Israel is in the midst of an unprecedented political boom, it works on all continents, including in the Arab world, which is shown in the visit of the president of Chad - and there will be other countries, you will hear about it."

Later, Netanyahu explained his political approach. "I want to refine one central point: In the past, Israeli prime ministers wanted to win the sympathy of the world by making dangerous concessions, including the uprooting of settlements. For me it did not happen, for me it does not happen. The exact opposite happens. We are gaining the sympathy of the world, including the sympathy of many in the Arab world, by our steadfastness and strength. Thanks to our determination and strength, as well as your power and the power of Israel's citizens, we are opening more and more doors. This is the essence of our policy, unlike others."

"We believe in peace through strength, we believe in the alliances that are acquired from the assets of the State of Israel as a technological power, from an economic power, from a security and intelligence power," the prime minister said. "We are nurturing and fortifying the State of Israel out of strength, and that is what we will continue to do. It is to continue to strengthen the State of Israel. This is the essence of our policy. I am doing it on your mission and I am doing it with your help."

2. 'LIBERMAN AND KAHLON WORKING FOR NEW ISRAEL FUND'
by Hezki Baruch

Culture Minister Miri Regev held a press conference this afternoon after it became clear the Cultural Loyalty Law will not be raised today in the Knesset plenum.

"I turned every stone in the Culture Ministry to bring about cultural justice," Regev said. "The Cinema Law has passed and gives more cultural expression to different parts of Israeli society," Regev said.

"The authority to deprive budgets from cultural institutions that violate the Nakba Law is only in the hands of Finance Minister Kahlon. For three-and-a-half years the Finance Minister evaded responsibility and chose not to deprive budgets from cultural institutions violating the Nakba Law," Regev added.

Regev continued to attack Kahlon: "He continued to allow funds to be channeled into budgets for plays and movies that glorify terrorists with blood on their hands.

"The law was launched with the support of Ministers Kahlon and Liberman, and now Liberman proved that he allows the terrorists to transfer budgets for their battle heritage, a heritage of terror."

Regev continued, "Liberman's loyalty is only to his ego and his word isn't a word."

Regev attacked the Finance Minister again, "Kahlon wants to topple the government from within the government. Kahlon is scared of two-and-a-half artists who might write something against him. Tell your public why you're scared, you are constantly trying to walk without feeling the people. That's not leadership.

"In fact, they're doing exactly what the New Israel Fund (NIF) wants. I'll continue to act in order for this law to be approved by the Knesset plenum. It will pass because it must pass," Regev said.

3. LAPID TO NETANYAHU: NO SHADY DEALS
by Arutz Sheva Staff

Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid slammed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu at the start of the weekly faction meeting Monday and claimed the prime minister is attempting to water down the Draft Law.

"Once again, they will give tens of millions of shekels to IDF evaders, at the expense of those who serve in the IDF and work and pay taxes," Lapid said. "It's a shady deal. This is what a shady deal looks like. We will not support a ' shady deal law.'"

Lapid sharply criticized the prime minister's conduct and the decision to request a third extension from the Supreme Court of the deadline to pass a new Draft Law.

"In six days' time the deadline set by the High Court of Justice to enact the draft law will have passed. The government again requested an extension. According to the custom, since the petition was ours, the High Court of Justice will turn to us to accept our position, and I want to spare them the tension: There will be no extension. there is no reason to extend it!

"The law that the IDF wrote and approved is an opportunity to reach a rare consensus. All that needs to happen is for the prime minister to promise that there will be no shady deals, and it is possible to pass the law in its current language."

4. KAHLON, BENNET, BE COURAGEOUS!

On Monday afternoon, Zionist Union Chairman Avi Gabbay, opened the faction meeting with a call to Netanyahu's partners to dismantle the coalition as soon as possible.

"This coalition is a bunch of sevivonim, (spinning top played with on Chanuka) that Netanyahu is spinning to survive. But in the end, every sevivon (singular) will fall, and this coalition too, is at a moment before the fall," Gabbay said.

"I call on the heads of the coalition, instead of dealing with small things -accept the real decision ad dismantle Netanyahu's government. At your initiative, not when he decides for you," Gabbay added.

"This is a people who get up in the morning, take the children to school and go to work. They have parents who who built the country and expect to be treated such as. These good citizens want this body to be concerned about them and their lives.

"I will surprise you and say a good word about Liberman. He had the courage to leave the chair," Gabbay added.

Turning to Kahlon and Bennett he said, "I call on you, Moshe, Naftali - be courageous, stand up to the prime minister, go with the public and dismantle this government. There are citizens who want their elected representatives to concern with their lives. "

5. LIKUD: STOP ANTI-SEMITISM - BOYCOTT AIRBNB!
by World Likud

The World Likud Movement has called for a boycott of the online lodging marketplace, AirBnB, after the company blacklisted Jewish-owned properties in Judea and Samaria.

In a statement released Sunday evening, the World Likud Movement accused the San Francisco-based company of anti-Semitism in singling out Jewish properties in Judea and Samaria.

"Stop Anti-Semitism – Boycott AirBnB" the call to action reads.
We, the undersigned, call for the boycott of AirBnB, which surrendered to false interests and Antisemitic parties and decided to remove from its platform of Jewish-owned apartments that are legally registered in Judea and Samaria.

It is beyond hypocritical when AirBnB markets vacation apartments in Gaza, which is occupied by the Hamas terrorist organization, and in northern Cyprus, which was brutally occupied by Turkey.

The decision to remove the apartments in Judea and Samaria is based on direct discrimination against Jews and the State of Israel. We will not allow incitement against parts of the State of Israel nor will we tolerate discrimination based on place of residence.

Therefore, we, the undersigned, call upon the public to boycott the AirBnB website until it returns from its Antisemitic and hallucinatory decision to remove legally Jewish-owned apartments located in Judea and Samaria.

Supporters can pledge their support for the boycott here.
Last week, AirBnB announced that it would no longer list properties in Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, following years of criticism of the company for allowing such listings.

About 200 homes in Judea and Samaria had been listed on Airbnb prior to the announcement. Anti-Israel activists have long targeted Airbnb for including listings in so-called "illegal settlements" in Judea and Samaria.

6. TERROR ATTACK SOUTH OF JERUSALEM
by David Rosenberg

Three IDF soldiers were injured Monday afternoon in a terrorist ramming attack south of Jerusalem.

The attack occurred on Route 60 in Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem at around 12:15 p.m. Monday.

The three soldiers were involved in engineering work on a the road when they were hit by a vehicle driven by the terrorist, who fled the scene immediately after the attack.

Two of the three of the victims are listed in light condition, while the third is in moderate condition.

The terrorist has reportedly been shot and killed by Israeli security forces.

MDA emergency first responders treated the three victims at the scene. The injured were then evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital and Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.

"When we arrived at the scene of the attack, along with an army medical team, we saw three youths, fully conscious, walking about," said senior MDA paramedic Abba Richman.

"Two of them were suffering from minor contusions and dry wounds, while a third suffered injuries to his limbs. We provided first aid treatment in the field, then loaded them onto ambulances and evacuated them to hospitals while they were fully conscious and in stable condition."

7. LA MAN ARRESTED AFTER ATTEMPTED RAMMING ATTACK ON ORTHODOX JEWS
by David Rosenberg

Authorities in Los Angeles have arrested a man suspected of attempting to run down Orthodox Jews outside of a synagogue during the Sabbath.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. Friday night near a synagogue in the Hancock Park neighborhood near La Brea and Oakwood avenues, in an area with a large Jewish population.

Witnesses say the driver suddenly swerved over towards a group of Orthodox Jews on the sidewalk, narrowly missing them.

After the car missed the pedestrians, the driver pulled around in a U-turn and tried to run down the would-be victims a second time.

When he missed them a second time, the driver struck a traffic sign. He then exited the vehicle, started screaming obscenities and anti-Semitic curses.

The pedestrians targeted in the apparent ramming attempt say the driver appeared to be of Middle Eastern origin, and had a Koran on his dashboard.

Following a complaint to the Los Angeles Police Department, authorities opened an investigation into the incident, and over the weekend identified the suspect as 32-year-old Mohamed Mohamed.

Los Angeles police arrested Mohamed for assault with a deadly weapon, and held him in custody on $55,000 bail.

The two men who were nearly hit in the attack say they believe they were singled out as Jews, and that the incident was likely an anti-Semitic hate crime.

"He was beeping and screaming f***ing Jew, f***ing Jew," one of the pedestrians told CBS.

"Why he chose us? Probably because of the yarmulkes on our heads."

8. ISRAELI MACHINE THAT PULLS WATER OUT OF AIR SENT TO CALIFORNIA
by JTA

An Israeli machine that can pull water out of the air was sent to northern California to provide clean drinking water for police and firefighters battling the Camp Fire.

On Sunday, officials announced that the fire had been brought 100 percent under control. At least 85 people were killed and more than 200 are still reported missing in the fire that burned for 17 days and destroyed more than 153,000 acres north of Sacramento, including 17,000 building structures. Thousands are living in emergency shelters and hotels.

The atmospheric water generator called the GEN-350, produced by the company Watergen USA, can produce up to 156 gallons of water per day and is transportable. It is carried by an emergency response vehicle, which is equipped with a generator and charging stations.

"Providing the police and firefighters with the basic necessity of drinking water allows them to serve and help for longer periods of time," said Ed Russo, CEO of Watergen USA.

"If we can help relieve the burden by providing them with clean water, that is something that we will most definitely do," said Yehuda Kaploun, president of Watergen USA.

Watergen's initiative to provide clean drinking water around the world earned the company its place on the World Economic Forum's list of the world's top technology pioneers in 2018.
