1. IRAN VOWS TO FIGHT 'DEAL OF THE CENTURY'
by AFP
Iran is determined to fight against US Donald Trump's anticipated Arab-Israeli peace plan, parliament speaker Ali Larijani said Tuesday according to semi-official news agency ISNA.
Trump has dubbed his administration's long-awaited plan the "ultimate deal", which has already unsettled the Palestinian Authority although no details have yet been disclosed.
Speaking in Tehran, Larijani said the "deal of the century" was a "plot" between Iran's arch foe Israel and the United States to establish the Jewish state's domination in the Middle East.
"We will stand against the regime of Israel and won't let this deal take place in the region," Larijani said at an annual conference on Islamic unity.
"If Americans are imposing sanctions on Iran today and are putting pressure on Iran, the reason for it is because Iran has stood against Israel," he added, quoted by ISNA.
Earlier this year, Washington pulled out of the international nuclear accord with Iran and reimposed crippling sanctions on Tehran.
"In order to achieve their objective they try to create new political arrangements in the region," Larijani said of US-Israeli strategy in the Middle East.
The parliament speaker also singled out regional rival Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as he warned countries against normalizing relations with Israel.
Countries in the region "should know that they would not benefit at all by letting Netanyahu into their countries", Larijani said.
"People in the region, in any country, regard Israel as a cancerous tumor and hate it," he added.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman earlier this year reaffirmed his country's "steadfast" support for the Palestinian Arab cause, after coming under fire for saying both Israelis and Palestinian Arabs "have the right to have their own land".
Israel has diplomatic relations with just two Arab states -- Egypt and Jordan -- but Netanyahu has been pushing for broader regional ties.
The Israeli premier travelled to Oman in October, while two of his ministers visited the UAE.
2. MK ILATOV TO BENNY BEGIN: 'YOU NEED TO BE DEALT WITH'
by Hezki Baruch
Yisrael Beiteinu Knesset faction Chair MK Robert Ilatov called to "deal with" MK Benny Begin of the Likud for his opposition to the death penalty for terrorists.
During a discussion of the Constitution Committee, Committee Chairman MK Nissan Slominski said, "I don't have a majority in the committee to pass the death penalty to terrorists."
MK Ilatov, who initiated the bill, accused the coalition of hastening to change the number of members of Yisrael Beiteinu in the Knesset Constitution, Law, and Justice Committee following the party's and Liberman's resignation.

MK Begin justified the coalition's decision and commented, "Both to resign and to get seats." MK Ilatov responded: "The people who need to be dealt with ... one of them is you."
Begin replied, "I want to understand what the meaning of 'the people who need to be dealt with' means, I just want to understand what that means."

South Korea will acquire two "Green Pine" radar systems from the Israeli company Elta Systems, a subsidiary of Israel Aircraft Industries.
The value of the deal is estimated at $292 million. Seoul is seeking to bolster South Korea's early warning system against North Korean threats in light of reports of a successful missile test.
The early warning systems are "Green Pine" radars that will probably be deployed at the beginning of 2020. Green Pine is the radar used by the Arrow missile defense system.
According to the South Korean State Procurement Agency, the aim of the acquisition is to "identify and track ballistic missiles from a remote distance shortly after launch."
The detection range of the radar may reach 500 kilometers. The system has been previously sold to India.

5. 'CONTROL OVER GAZA - IN EXCHANGE FOR NEW ELECTIONS'
by David Rosenberg
Leaders of the Hamas terrorist organization are prepared to restore direct control over the Gaza Strip to the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah, according to a report by the Lebanon-based pro-Hezbollah Al-Mayadeen network.
Under the terms of the October 2017 reconciliation agreement between Hamas and the Palestinian Authority's ruling party, Fatah, the Gaza-based terror group agreed to restore control over the coastal enclave to Ramallah.
As part of the agreement, Fatah promised to form a new unity government with Hamas, and to resume payments in full for public services in the Gaza Strip.
But the deal was never fully implemented, missing the December 1st 2017 deadline for the transfer of power.
On Tuesday, however, it was reported that Hamas leaders have expressed a willingness to transfer power over the Gaza Strip to Fatah control.
The offer does come with a catch, according to the report. Hamas has demanded that the Palestinian Authority follow through with its promise to form a unity government with Hamas. The new unity government must be formed within 45 days, Hamas leaders reportedly demanded.
In addition, Hamas has set new elections as a condition for its surrender of control over the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Authority last held general elections for the PA Legislative Council in January 2006.
According to the Al-Mayadeen report, Hamas has demanded that new elections be held in the next six months.
6. TERROR ATTACK SOUTH OF JERUSALEM
by David Rosenberg
Three IDF soldiers were injured Monday afternoon in a terrorist ramming attack south of Jerusalem.
The attack occurred on Route 60 in Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem at around 12:15 p.m. Monday.
The three soldiers were involved in engineering work on a the road when they were hit by a vehicle driven by the terrorist, who fled the scene immediately after the attack.
Two of the three of the victims are listed in light condition, while the third is in moderate condition.
The terrorist has reportedly been shot and killed by Israeli security forces.
MDA emergency first responders treated the three victims at the scene. The injured were then evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital and Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
"When we arrived at the scene of the attack, along with an army medical team, we saw three youths, fully conscious, walking about," said senior MDA paramedic Abba Richman.
"Two of them were suffering from minor contusions and dry wounds, while a third suffered injuries to his limbs. We provided first aid treatment in the field, then loaded them onto ambulances and evacuated them to hospitals while they were fully conscious and in stable condition."

7. ISRAELI TEEN'S MURDERED BODY FOUND IN DUMPSTER
by David Rosenberg
An Israeli teenager was found dead in a dumpster in northern Israel, three days after she disappeared.
Police located the remains of 16-year-old Yara Ayoub in a dumpster Monday afternoon, after her family reported her missing.
"The missing person, Yara Ayoub, 16, was found by Israel Police officers, with no signs of life," Israel Police said on Monday.
"As part of the investigation of the incident, two suspects have been arrested thus far, and the investigation is still underway."
Police suspect Ayoub was kidnapped and later murdered.
The two suspects taken into custody in connection with Ayoub's death have been identified as a 28-year-old resident of Jish, who is believed to be the kidnapper, and a 53-year-old man also suspected of being involved in the girl's disappearance.
Ayoub, a Christian Arab resident of the Galilee town of Jish (also known as Gush Halav), disappeared on Friday after she left home to go to a friend's birthday party. Relatives say she was last seen at a bakery in Jish.
"She was on her way to her friend's birthday and stopped at the bakery to buy something, and then we lost contact with her. On Monday they told us her body was found," Nashat Ayoub, Yara's father said, according to Yediot Ahronot.
"My heart is aching for my beautiful girl. She was a special girl, she always made sure it was happy at home. It's terrible that we've lost her."
A second teenage girl was also found murdered on Monday, this time in Tel Aviv.
The second victim was identified as 13-year-old Silvana Tsegai, an Eritrean national living in Tel Aviv.
Police are currently searching for the girl's suspected killer, Tesfabran Tesfatsion. Tesfatsion has been identified as the former boyfriend of Tsegai's mother.
8. 'DESTROY TERRORISTS' HOMES EVEN IF THEY DON'T KILL'
by Arutz Sheva Staff
MK Avi Dichter announced at a closed meeting of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that he would see to it that the homes of terrorists who did not succeed in murdering Jews during a terrorist attack would also be destroyed.
In effect, the existing practice whereby the State Prosecutor's Office seeks to demolish only the homes of terrorists who succeeded in murdering Jews will be abolished.
"The committee headed by me will make sure that demolitions of homes for deterrence will be carried out not only according to the outcome, but also according to the terrorist's intentions and the characteristics of the terrorist attack," Dichter said.
He added that "we have reasonable grounds to assume that the political direction of the security bodies on the subject of demolitions will soon change so that there will be no distinction between the outcome of the murder in the attack and the intention to murder Israelis. If we can destroy the terrorists' houses on their heads, we will better protect our soldiers and our citizens" he said.
