1. MK YEHUDA GLICK ANNOUNCES ENGAGEMENT AT KNESSET PLENUM
by Mordechai Sones
MK Yehuda Glick of the Likud announced in a speech to the Knesset plenum he will marry Amitzim organization Chairwoman Hadas Disin.
Disin, a resident of Talmon in Binyamin, was widowed 17 years ago. Disin's husband died suddenly while baking matzah when she was 29. The Amitzim organization established by Disin provides support for widowers, widows, and young orphans, with the aim of establishing together an empowering, embracing, and strengthening community.

A year after his wife died, Glick announced at the Knesset plenum: "Since I received love and encouragement from you in joy and mourning, I find it a pleasant duty to share with you a new development: I'm happy to inform you that Hadas and I decided to get married.

"In the last few months I've been exposed to a field I wasn't sufficiently aware of, the situation of widdows and orphans," Glick said. "Several hundred orphans of terror attacks and IDF battles are being treated by about seven different organizations. Just to explain: There are associations that treat cancer patients, but from the moment a person dies, they're no longer accompanied. Practically, the boys and girls and the couple are sent away.
"In the near future, while we're all busy with the primaries and the elections, we will be busy preparing to build a new home. I've been with you for four years even before I was a Knesset Member," he said.
Glick added, "Two-and-a-half years ago I joined the Knesset and since then I've gotten hugs. Ladies and Gentlemen, tomorrow evening I'll hold an event in Jerusalem on the theme of united Jerusalem, and as part of this event I'll also raise a toast to thank G-d for the new relationship and for the prayer that with Hadas I'll be able to establish a connected home."

2. GABBAY: LIVNI TREATED ME LIKE GARBAGE
by Arutz Sheva Staff
During a public announcement Tuesday morning, Labor Party chairman Avi Gabbay wished Hatnuah faction chief Tzipi Livni good luck as he severed the alliance between the two parties, effectively ending the Zionist Union.
Behind closed doors, however, Gabbay was far less charitable to Livni, blaming her for the dissolution of the Zionist Union and accusing her of behaving in bad faith.
Speaking at a party meeting shortly after his announcement said he had no regrets for the termination of the Labor-Hatnuah alliance, nor for the abrupt manner in which he dissolved the Zionist Union, without even notifying Livni ahead of time.
Gabbay had choice words for Livni at the party meeting, criticizing the Hatnuah chairwoman's behavior after she was tapped to become Opposition chief.
"I had to take s*** from her the entire time from the moment she became [Opposition leader]. There wasn't any partnership here, just damage. Whenever there was good news, she ran to the media. When times weren't as good, she disappeared and left us all the work."
MK Itzik Shmuli (Labor) backed Gabbay's decision, saying that while he thought Livni "is a worthy person," her "behavior towards the [Labor] party and its chairman have, in recent weeks, strengthened the lack of faith [between the two sides] and in effect destroyed the partnership."
3. KULANU MK TO LEAVE PARTY, SAYS FACTION HAS MOVED TO THE RIGHT
by David Rosenberg
MK Rachel Azariya may run for a second term in the Knesset in this year's legislative election – but not with the Kulanu party.
Azariya, a social activist and former Jerusalem deputy mayor who ran for the Knesset with Kulanu in 2015, has signaled that she will not remain a part of the faction's Knesset delegation after the new elections in April.
Kulanu party chief Moshe Kahlon informed Azariya that he will not include her on the party's Knesset list for the upcoming elections – a decision Azariya said was the result of a parting of ways between her and the rest of her faction that has been long in coming.
Speaking with Israel Radio, Azariya said that she and Kahlon had long recognized that she no longer fit in the party.
"It has been clear to Kahlon and myself that the differences between us have grown. The party has changed, moved to the right. I don't want to have another term in office where I have to grit my teeth and vote for things that I don't agree with, like the 'Recommendations Law'" barring publication of police recommendations for indictments in certain cases, "and the Cultural Loyalty Law," which permits the Culture Minister to withdraw state funding of artists or organizations which support terror or oppose Israel's character as a Jewish, democratic state.
While Azariya says she may run for the Knesset this year with a different party, she did not elaborate on which faction she may consider joining.
Recent polls show Kulanu, which won 10 seats in 2015, falling to between five to seven mandates.
Fellow Kulanu MK Yoav Galant, who served as Building and Housing Minister for most of the 20th Knesset, before being appointed Immigration Minister, also recently left Kulanu, joining the Likud.
4. BEITAR JERUSALEM SOCCER PLAYER STABBED
by Neri Weiss
It was cleared for publication that Beitar Jerusalem soccer player Or Inbrum was stabbed Tuesday morning.
Inbrum, who plays for the Beitar Jerusalem soccer club, was apparently stabbed at the entrance to his home in Ashdod. He was stabbed in the lower body and moderately wounded.
MDA spokesman Zaki Heller said that "At 6:18 am a call was received at the MDA Lachish Center for a stabbing incident on Ibn Ezra Street in Ashdod. MDA units dispatched to the site gave medical treatment to a man of about 24 and evacuated him, as he was in moderate condition with stabbings on his lower body, to the trauma room in the Assuta hospital in Ashdod."
It is as yet unclear if there were other players involved in the incident, or if there is a direct connection between the incident and the sport. Last night, Inbrum managed to participate in his team's game when he entered as a substitute in the game against Hapoel Haifa which closed the 16th round in the Premier League and took place in Teddy Stadium, ending with a 1: 1 draw.
Beitar Jerusalem responded to the incident by saying, "First of all, we are relieved to know that Or's condition is good and it is a superficial injury. We wish the player a healthy return to routine as soon as possible."
"As for the case itself, the matter is under police investigation, so we have nothing to elaborate on at the moment and we are not going to respond to speculations and interpretations of this or that kind."
5. NETANYAHU; NO INTENTION OF RESIGNING

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu convened a press conference on Monday during his visit to Brazil, and made it clear that he would not resign if he is summoned for a hearing in the corruption investigations against him before the elections in April.
"Israel is a state of law and according to the law, a prime minister does not have to resign in the process of hearing," Netanyahu said. "The hearing does not end until you hear my side and therefore it makes no sense to start this process and hold a hearing before the elections if you can not finish it before the elections."
Netanyahu also criticized the establishment of a new political party by ministers Naftali Bennett and Ayelet Shaked.
"There are two dangers in this new party - the first is that it will crush the right-wing bloc into splinters of parties that will not pass the threshold, and the second is that no one knows what they will do with the mandates they will receive. They can easily move their mandates from right to left - they already had a fraternal alliance with Lapid."
The prime minister referred to Case 4000 (the Bezeq-Walla case) and said that he did not give any special benefits to Shaul Elovitch, the controlling shareholder in Bezeq. "Not only did Elowitz not receive benefits, but he paid billions, because during my tenure as communications minister they began to implement the big wholesale reform that broke Bezeq's monopoly in the fixed-line telecommunications market, and that collapsed Bezeq's share."
6. STUNNED BY ZIONIST UNION BREAKUP, LIVNI VOWS 'REVOLUTION'
by David Rosenberg
Tzipi Livni promise supporters a "revolution" in this April's legislative election, after Labor chief Avi Gabbay's stunning announcement Tuesday morning that he was dissolving his party's partnership with Livni's Hatnuah faction.
Livni herself appeared to be stunned by Gabbay's announcement, leaving the room and declining to offer a response to reporters following the Labor chairman's statement.
Later, Livni tweeted a message aimed at supporters, vowing to carry on despite the termination of Zionist Union joint list.
"Thank you to the callers, the SMS senders and the supporters. It is good that the doubts have been dispelled and we can focus on the important national challenge we face, all those who believe in the truth of our path - a revolution [will be coming] in the upcoming elections," Livni tweeted Tuesday morning.
Gabbay appeared to criticize Livni's Hatnuah faction during his announcement Tuesday, saying that the partnership between the two parties had failed to "lead to real growth", suggesting Livni's party had failed to 'stand by agreements'.
"I had hoped and believed that the change [in party leadership] and our new partnership would lead to our growth, to a real connection," said Gabbay.
"But the public is wise, it sees that that isn't the case, and [the public] moved away. I still believe in cooperation, in making connections, and in making a single big bloc backing change. But the successful alliances require friendship, standing by agreements, and staying faithful till the end. This isn't what has been happening in this partnership."

7. ZIONIST UNION BREAKS UP
by David Rosenberg
The Zionist Union, a joint list of the Israeli Labor Party and the smaller Hatnuah faction, has broken up ahead of the elections for the 21st Knesset.
On Tuesday morning, Labor chief Avi Gabbay notified Tzipi Livni, chairwoman of Hatnuah and the senior partner with Gabbay in the Zionist Union, that he was ending the partnership between the two factions.
"Tzipi, I wish you every success in the elections, in any party you choose," he said. "We will continue to fight and be committed to the change that the people of Israel want. I entered politics for the people and always be on their side."
Livni, who was sitting next to Gabbay during the announcement but apparently had not been informed of the Labor leader's plans ahead of time, declined to respond immediately following Gabbay's comments.
The split between the erstwhile allies comes just three months before this year's Knesset election.
The Zionist Union, which won 24 seats in 2015, has fallen in the polls to between 7 to 10 mandates under the leadership of its new chairman, Avi Gabbay, who previously served as Minister of Environmental Protection as part of the Kulanu party.
According to Labor MK Itzik Shmuli, Gabbay split from Livni's Hatnuah faction in order to form a new alliance with former IDF chief of staff Benny Gantz's newly-formed Hosen L'Yisrael (Resilience for Israel) party, Yediot Ahronot reported.

8. 'OUR LIVES ARE CHEAP BECAUSE WE'RE SETTLERS'
by Arutz Sheva Staff
M., the father of one of the Jewish minors under interrogation on suspicion of involvement in a security incident that took place several months ago, is concerned about what his son is undergoing at the Shin Bet facilities.
"We do not know what they will do to them, and we are terrified of a repeat of the Duma incident. Who knows what kind of manipulations they exert on them? Maybe they are experiencing physical and mental harm?" M. asked on Army Radio.
The father attacked the fact that the interrogees were prevented from meeting with lawyers, "apparently because we are settlers with peyot (sidelocks), our lives are cheap. I am certain that the investigation will end with nothing."
On the other hand, former Shin Bet chief Ami Ayalon claimed that the investigations were carried out according to the law: "Terrorism is terrorism - no difference between Palestinians and Jews. The Shin Bet is permitted to prevent the detainee from meeting with an attorney - everything is according to the law."
"You have to say openly - there is Jewish terror. They are the ones who burned the Dawabsheh house. Some of them harm IDF soldiers and undermine Israeli statehood," Ayalon added.
The three Jewish minors were arrested on Tuesday by the Shin Bet's "Jewish Brigade" and the Judea and Samaria District Police. They will remain in detention for another five days.
The Shin Bet said in response that "The detainees in Shin Bet interrogations receive all the rights to which they are entitled under the law. The allegations about denying the rights of the interrogees illegally are baseless and their goal, among other things, is to divert the hearing from the suspicions over which they were detained for interrogation.
