The Israeli military on Wednesday afternoon revealed details regarding the terror tunnel located along the Israeli-Lebanese border late last week.
The tunnel, the fourth of its kind discovered by Israeli forces since the launch of Operation Northern Shield earlier this month, was dug by the Hezbollah terror group from southern Lebanon into northern Israel.

On Wednesday, the IDF revealed that the tunnel originated inside the Shi'ite village of Ramyeh near the Israeli border.
"During the weekend, IDF soldiers exposed a Hezbollah attack tunnel that crossed into Israeli territory from Lebanon," an IDF spokesperson said in a statement.
"Today, the location has been cleared for publication. The attack tunnel was dug in the area of the Shiite village Ramyeh and penetrated several meters into Israeli territory."
"The efforts to expose and neutralize the attack tunnels will continue as necessary."

The joint Taskforce of the IDF Northern Command and the Intelligence Directorate examined areas along the Blue Line – the line demarcating the border between Israel and Lebanon – that could be used by Hezbollah in their attack plan.
As part of the tracking methods in the forested areas next to the Shi'ite village of West Ramyeh and into Israeli territory, a number of unusual alterations of the landscape were identified that suggested Hezbollah was working on cross-border tunnels.
In May 2016, for instance, a lone tree was burnt. "Unusual movement of rocks and the creation of new manmade trails were also detected," the IDF said.
"Concentration of widespread efforts over the past few years by a variety of means – visual and technological – led to the exposure of the attack tunnel routes in Israeli territory."
2. KULANU MK: 'OREN HAZAN THREATENED TO KILL HIMSELF'
by Mordechai Sones
MK Rachel Azaria (Kulanu) shared with Ayala Hasson on 103FM the Ethics Committee's decision to suspend Knesset Member Oren Hazan and claimed Hazan threatened to end his life.
"The Ethics Committee tries not to punish MKs," MK Azaria said, "The Committee includes four members, two from the coalition and two from the opposition. It's very diverse and demands to examine whether MKs are harming the Knesset. I can say that when there are repeated incidents, such as harming Knesset Members, the committee cannot let it pass.
According to the Knesset Member, who is a partner in a coalition in which Hazan is a member, "We held a discussion on the conduct of Knesset Member Oren Hazan and we decided to punish him again. When we turned to MK Hazan to tell him he was suspended again, he became very angry and demanded to address the committee, although until then he refused to attend. He said very harsh things and made all kinds of threats against himself." When asked whether Knesset Member Hazan threatened to end his life, MK Azaria responded positively, and even claimed MK Hazan would "blame the committee members".
MK Oren Hazan did not remain silent and denied the words of MK Azariah: "There's a limit to the lies and chutzpah of the lady who spoke here. She's a liar from the Land of Liars. The Ethics Committee's supposed to be closed and isn't supposed to expose the matter to the media. I never sat with members of the Ethics Committee and told them I'd commit suicide."
According to him, "Last week a telephone conversation was held with me while I was in the hospital. The Knesset's legal advisor spoke to me and informed me of the decision to suspend me once again. I tried to understand because according to rules the committee's obliged to hear the response of a Knesset Member before making decisions and I wondered if the commission is trying to kill me or get rid of me because if that's what they want to do that's what'll happen. This attempt by Yuli Edelstein to use the Ethics Committee for political liquidation is unacceptable."
When asked if he had threatened to end to his life: "It's a lie from the Land of Lies, I have a wife, a girl, charming radio interviews, and a nation that needs me to sound its cry in the Knesset. A member of the Ethics Committee is putting out lies and then discusses my case. Enough."

3. BEER SHEVA CHIEF RABBI 'SHOCKED AT RONA RAMON'S REQUEST'
by Mordechai Sones
Rabbi Yehuda Deri, the chief rabbi of the southern Israeli city of Beer Sheva, sent a letter to the Ramon family reproving the decision of the late Rona Ramon to be cremated.
At the beginning of the letter the rabbi expressed condolences to the family, "We feel your pain and are participating in your great mourning.
"I was shocked to hear this morning in the media that the deceased, with her characteristic nobility, asked not to be buried, but to be cremated to prevent another funeral and unnecessary suffering for the family.
"I appeal to you on behalf of many of the Rabbis and judges of Israel and in the name of large parts of the nation to reconsider this decision and express your desire to respect the deceased as is her due and bring her to a Jewish burial in the soil she loved so much and sacrificed for it that which was most precious to her. And there she should rest in peace."

5. 'WHAT PART OF KILLING A BABY IS HEROIC?'
by Elad Benari
Jason Greenblatt, US President Donald Trump's Special Representative for International Negotiations, ripped the Fatah movement on Tuesday after it praised as "heroes" the two terrorists who carried out the attacks in Ofra and in Barkan and who were eliminated by Israeli security forces last week.
"Shame on Fatah! What part of killing a baby or shooting your co-workers is heroic? This is disgraceful, vile and contemptible," Greenblatt tweeted.
He attached to the tweet a screenshot of Fatah's Twitter account in which the group praised the terrorists.

The same Fatah Twitter account also expressed clear support for the terrorists who carried out the murderous shooting attack at the Givat Assaf junction.
Despite being described by some Western officials as a "peace partner" of Israel, Fatah which is headed by Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas often incites to terrorism against Israel.
The PA's television channels and social media pages openly call for terrorism against Israelis, and it regularly names schools, public squares, community centers and other institutions after terrorists who murdered Israelis.
6. RONA RAMON, WIDOW OF COLUMBIA ASTRONAUT ILAN RAMON, PASSES AWAY
by Gil Ronen
Rona Ramon, widow of Columbia Space Shuttle astronaut and IAF hero Ilan Ramon, has passed away at age 54 after battling a disease.
Ilan and Rona's son, Capt. Asaf Ramon, was an Air Force pilot like his father, and was killed in an aviation training accident.

7. AIRBNB BACKTRACKS ON YESHA BOYCOTT
by Gary Willig
Airbnb announced that its policy of boycotting Jewish properties in Judea and Samaria would not be carried out in practice.
The announcement follows a meeting between officials from Airbnb and Israeli Tourism Minister Yariv Levin.
The Tourism Ministry called the decision "a step in the right direction," a reference to the fact that the initial decision to boycott the Jewish homes was not officially reversed but will merely not be implemented.
Minister Levin said that he will continue to act to ensure that all Israeli citizens will receive equal treatment and will continue to strengthen tourism in Israel, including in Judea and Samaria.
Last month, the online rental marketplace announced that it will no longer list homes in Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria. About 200 homes in Judea and Samaria had been listed on Airbnb prior to the announcement.
Airbnb justified the decision by stating that it had developed a new five point checklist for handling listings in "occupied territories." and had "concluded that we should remove listings in Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank that are at the core of the dispute between Israelis and Palestinians."
Critics have accused Airbnb of discrimination against Jews as it continues to list properties in Judea and Samaria that are not owned by Jews and has not delisted any properties in any other conflict zone, including Turkish-occupied northern Cyprus, Russian-occupied Crimea, or Chinese occupied Tibet, among others.
