1. LAPID TEMPTS LIBERMAN
by Mordechai Sones
Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid and No. 2 in the Blue-White faction discussed today the crisis in talks to form the fifth Netanyahu coalition.
"I now said on Radio Reka what everyone knows," Lapid said in his Twitter account. "If Liberman enters the government, he'll have to compromise on pensions and the Russian public won't get anything.
"If he waits a few months, he gets 55 sure votes from us to raise the pensions to the size he promised, and with him we have 61 votes, a full majority," he added.
However, many commentators on Twitter reminded Lapid that the 55 opposition seats and Lapid's five totaled only 60 seats in the end.
Meanwhile, Yediot Ahronot reported senior Likud officials said Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was seriously considering the possibility of forming a temporary coalition of 60 MKs without Liberman in light of the many difficulties in conducting the coalition negotiations between Likud and Yisrael Beyteinu.
In the previous term, Netanyahu formed a narrow coalition of 61 MKs until Liberman and his party joined the coalition and increased it to 66 MKs.
The report also said such a move could succeed only if Liberman abstained or would abstain in the Knesset vote on government approval. If Liberman decides to oppose the vote, a majority will not be obtained to present the government. The Likud believes that if such an option is reached as a last resort, Liberman will not object in practice so he will not be accused of being the one who overthrew a right-wing government.
2. 'KORAN SEVENTEEN TIMES MORE ANTI-SEMITIC THAN HITLER'S BOOK'

In a British campaign trail interview with Australian journalist Avi Yemini, UK Parliamentary candidate Tommy Robinson faced off with a young local woman about charges Robinson represented "White Supremacy" and the perception that criticizing Islam should be curtailed.
"I feel like Mohammed was alright," said the interviewee. "I quite like his views."
Yemini broke in and said "Talking about anti-Semitism - Mohammed was the biggest anti-Semite around. He beheaded 900 Jews."
Robinson then entered the discussion said "You know the Koran's got seventeen times more anti-Semitism than Mein Kampf, Hitler's book."
Yemini continued, "As a Jew I'm asking you: Is Tommy allowed to criticize Mein Kampf?"
"Well, yeah," responded the young lady.
"Did you know that the Koran itself has far more anti-Semitic sentences in it than Mein Kampf?"
Yemini continued: "Do you know what a Dhimmi is? I come from Yemen; my background - my grandmother was a Dhimmi in Yemen. She was a second-class citizen because she was a non-Muslim. That is supremacy, not Tommy Robinson," summed up Yemini, concluding with "G-d bless."
Meanwhile, Robinson faces trial this week for a charge for which he already served 10 weeks of a 13 month sentence that was tossed out:

New York City mayor Bill de Blasio on Thursday announced officially that he is joining the Democratic presidential primary to challenge Trump in 2020.
"I'm a New Yorker, I've known Trump's a bully for a long time. This is not news to me or anyone else here. And I know how to take him on," de Blasio said in a video posted online. "Don't back down in the face of a bully -- confront him, take him on."
He added: "Donald Trump must be stopped -- I've beaten him before and I will do it again. I'm Bill de Blasio, and I'm running for president because it's time we put working people first."
De Blasio's entrance into the race will bring the total number of candidates seeking to challenge President Donald Trump to 23, with nearly nine months before the first votes are cast.
4. BANNERS IN HEBRON CALL OUT 'LIES' OF 'BREAKING THE SILENCE'
by Arutz Sheva Staff
Dozens of large pro-Israel banners were hung today (Thursday) in Hebron in response to the far-Left organization "Breaking the Silence," which commissioned a billboard in Tel-Aviv encouraging Eurovision tourists to join its tours in Hebron.
"Jews are only allowed on one street in Hebron, which is only 3% of the city!" read one of the banners, put up by the Jewish Community of Hebron together with the Zionist organization Im Tirtzu.
"'Breaking the Silence' Lies," read another banner. "Israeli investigative TV show HaMakor found that the majority of 'facts' told by 'Breaking the Silence' are NOT TRUE," the banner said.
"Breaking the Silence" was founded in 2004 and claims to expose violations by IDF soldiers, but it has been widely criticized over its anonymous and frequently debunked testimonies.
"Breaking the Silence understood after the elections that they have no support in Israel and no way to get donors," said Yishai Fleisher, spokesperson for the Jewish Community of Hebron.
"Therefore they are now trying to fool tourists who are unaware about the situation and who are willing to buy their lies."
Yehuda Sharabany, project coordinator for Im Tirtzu, said that "Breaking the Silence" is taking advantage of innocent tourists to turn them against Israel.
"But now," explained Sharabany, "our banners will show them the truth. This organization has been repeatedly caught lying and we will continue to expose their lies for all to see."
5. MANIPULATION FOR THE MEDIA
by Shimon Cohen
Arik Lederman, a 65-year-old Herzliya resident, spat at the Polish ambassador, Marek Magierowski, without knowing that the person in front of him was the ambassador. Lederman said one of the embassy guards called him a "Zydek," a derogatory Polish term for a Jew.
The Magistrate's Court released him to house arrest yesterday, Wednesday, at noon. Arutz Sheva spoke with Meir Bulka, chairman of the JNERATIONS organization for the preservation of the heritage of European Jewry.
"There was manipulation for the media here," Bulka said. "This was a regrettable case of a quarrel between two people, but I read the minutes of the court and see that the defendant arrived at the embassy and asked to find out something about his family property and felt uncomfortable with the appellations that were said to him.
"They called him a word that translates as 'a collaborating Jew'. He took it hard, leaves the embassy angry, and sees a vehicle blocking him, and then an argument develops like a lot of arguments do every day in Tel Aviv. "
At this point, Bulka said, "The ambassador took out a camera and took a picture of him. The ambassador is a former journalist and therefore understood that he had a story in his hand."
In Bulka's view, this is an attempt to stir up the atmosphere against the backdrop of the cancellation of the Israeli delegation's visit to Poland for a discussion of Jewish property that has not yet been restored. "A day ago there was a matter of the delegation that was canceled, so here we can hit the Jews again - that's what this is about."
"In contrast to the previous ambassadors, there is an ambassador here who understands the media and studied the Israeli media, he learned Hebrew and published articles here in the press. He wrote in an article that the Germans murdered the Jewish inhabitants of Warsaw and the Poles together. That is a complete lie. There was a Jewish ghetto, and in the other part of the city, life went on as normal while in the ghetto they liquidated Jews and sent them to Auschwitz. That is a manipulation that journalists buy. "
According to Bulka, the ambassador is in constant contact with journalists and holds briefings with them. "He operates the business as the envoy of Polish propaganda. Why journalists don't check or investigate, I don't know. I have dozens of examples pointing to media tactics."
Among other things, Bulka notes that the Israeli media refers to one of the Polish propaganda emissaries, who receives a payment of 15,000 euros from the government there for his activities here, as if he were an expert on Poland, even though he is the public relations man of Poland, as Bulka called him. "That doesn't bring the other side, but one side only."
"I follow every tweet of this ambassador. There are half truths and lies there, and no one is doing anything. He should learn to lie somewhere else."

6. NETANYAHU DECRIES 'IMPOSSIBLE' COALITION DEMANDS
by Arutz Sheva Staff
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu took part in a ceremony marking the centenary of the death of Aaron Aaronsohn, head of the Nili spy ring, and referred to the coalition talks and the fact that no agreement has been signed with any of the potential coalition partners.
Netanyahu said that coalition negotiations are "a mission that seems absurd" and that he "prefers to be here more than in the coalition negotiations, and all the factions demand demands that clash with each other."
"One faction asked for four positions for each of its four MKs. The budgetary requests are reasonable, if we had a budget like the US. We don't have that, and we can't collapse Israel's economy," he stressed.
Channel 12 reported that the prime minister and his associates have informed several Knesset members that they will fight with all their might over legislation that would grant immunity to Netanyahu and prevent him from being prosecuted.
"The citizens of Israel deserve a full-time prime minister," Netanyahu said in one of the briefings. ""After I finish my job I will deal with the trial. The citizens of Israel knew what my situation was and chose me. If I thought about my personal good, I would submit to the trial when I was prime minister and not as a private citizen, but I understand that this is not in the best interest of the state."
7. JEWISH WOMAN WOUNDED IN STABBING ATTACK IN SWEDEN
by David Rosenberg
A Jewish woman was wounded in a stabbing attack in Sweden Tuesday, leaving her in critical condition.
The incident took place in the city of Helsingborg roughly 20 kilometers (12.5 miles) northwest of Malmo, where the woman resides, Tuesday morning.
According to initial reports, the woman, who is said to be in her 60s, was stabbed nine times during the attack, then was left for dead.
The woman was found in critical condition.
Police have been deployed to the scene and are searching for the assailant.
Local authorities have described the attack as an attempted murder, but have not commented on the motivation behind the attack.
Security has been increased around Jewish institutions in the city.
Some reports identified the woman as the wife of the leader of the local Jewish community, though this has yet to be confirmed. A representative of a local Jewish congregation did say the woman was active with the community, however, SVT Nyheter reported.
According to the report, the victim was on her way to work when she was attacked.
This is a developing story.
8. TRIPLETS BORN TO PARENTS WHO LOST TWO CHILDREN IN BEITAR FIRE
by Arutz Sheva Staff
The Ginzburg family of Beitar Illit welcomed newborn triplets, two girls and a boy, on Wednesday morning, Kikar Hashabbat reported.
In early October 2018, the family's 5-year-old Efrat and 2-year-old Zvi died in a fire in the family's home.
Investigations showed that a fallen lamp had apparently caused the fire, and that the fire broke out while the parents were at a family event in Jerusalem. A neighbor who lives nearby was asked to take care of the family's five children, and occasionally entered the Ginzburg apartment to make sure everything was going smoothly.
The newborns' grandfather, Rabbi Shlomo Ginzburg, told Kikar Hashabbat: "We really feel like there was 'judgment and mercy,' there was judgment and that judgment was completely wrapped in mercy. G-d is always with us."
"During the shiva (week of mourning - ed.) one yeshiva dean promised that G-d would repay them double."
The site also noted that the family was able to return home just prior to Pesach (Passover).
