1. UK LABOUR LEADER HOSTED HAMAS MEMBERS IN PARLIAMENT
by David Rosenberg

UK Opposition Leader Jeremy Corbyn hosted a meeting with radical Islamists, including activists affiliated with the Hamas terror organization, in the British Parliament just months before he became head of the UK Labour Party, a new report revealed Tuesday.

According to a report by the Daily Mail, in 2015, six months before he won control of Labour and became Opposition Leader, Corbyn hosted a meeting in Parliament with a group of Hamas backers and other radical Islamists.

Photographs provided by the Daily Mail show Corbyn sitting with the Islamists and other controversial figures, and in one case, posing with an Arab journalist who called for Iran to bomb Israel.

Among the participants in the meeting was Daud Abdullah, the ex-deputy secretary-general of the Muslim Council of Britain who later founded the British Muslim Initiative, a group which purports to combat Islamophobia in Britain.

In 2009, Abdullah came under criticism for his support of the 'Istanbul Declaration' in the wake of Israel's Cast Lead operation against the Hamas terror organization in Gaza. The declaration was made after British Premier Gordon Brown offered to use Royal Navy vessels to block the smuggling of weapons into the Gaza Strip.

As part of the declaration, Abdullah and others called for Royal Navy vessels sent to the Gaza coast to be attacked.

Abdullah has a lengthy history of controversial positions not only regarding Israel, but also towards Jews generally. In 2005, Abdullah used his position in the Muslim Council of Britain to lead a boycott of Holocaust Memorial Day.

Other participants photographed at the meeting with Corbyn included Hamas activists Zaher al-Birawi and Mohammed Swalha, and journalist Azzam Tamimi, who has called for the 'dissolution' of Israel, and in a 2004 interview with the BBC expressed his longing to become a "martyr" on behalf of the Palestinian cause.

"I would do it if I had the opportunity," Tamimi said.

Other pictures presented by the Daily Mail show Corbyn posing with the journalist Abdel Bari Atwan, who once expressed his hope to Lebanese media that Iran would bomb Israel.

"If the Iranian missiles strike Israel, by Allah, I will go to Trafalgar Square and dance with delight," Atway is quoted as saying.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Corbyn attended a conference with senior Hamas terrorists including Husam Badran, who was given a 17-year sentence for his involvement in terrorist atrocities committed during the Second Intifada between 2001 and 2002.

The conference was also attended by Khaled Mashaal, the former leader of Hamas' political bureau, who is on a UK sanction list, and Dr. Abdul Aziz Umar, who received seven life sentences for aiding in the preparation of a suicide belt.

Tuesday's report is the latest in a series of scandals which have engulfed the UK Labour Party and Corbyn.

Dozens of Labour members have been suspended over their anti-Semitic statements in recent years, and Corbyn himself has been accused of holding anti-Semitic views by senior UK Jewish leaders. Corbyn has also been criticized for calling Hamas and Hezbollah his "friends" and for outright refusing to condemn those two terrorist organizations despite being urged to do so by local Jewish groups.

Last week, the Daily Mail published photos of Corbyn at a cemetery in Tunisia holding a wreath near the graves of some of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) terrorists who were responsible for the massacre of the 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics.

Days later, a picture emerged of Corbyn apparently making a salute linked to the Muslim Brotherhood organization.

Also last week, the Times of London published a picture of Corbyn meeting with the leader-in-exile of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization, only weeks before its members carried out an attack on a Jerusalem synagogue in which six people were murdered.

2. MOTHER ATTEMPTS KIDNAPPING LITTLE DAUGHTER
by Mordechai Sones

The mother of a two-year-old ward of the state apparently tried to kidnap her.

The two were caught within a few hours after a police search in the center of Jerusalem. The child was not harmed.

News 2 reported the incident began at 4 pm when welfare authorities informed police that during a meeting between the two, the mother suddenly grabbed the toddler and fled.

Within a short time, large-scale searches were carried out, aided by a police helicopter. Within hours, the mother was found hiding with her daughter in the center of Jerusalem.

3. ISRAELI BOY SENT TO TEXAS FOR URGENT SURGERY
by Sponsored Content

Moshe Cohen, a resident of Bnei Brak, has always been a happy baby. He is his parents' first - and only child. But Moshe was born with a severe birth defect which prevents him from leading a normal life. His parents, Tamar and Shlomo Cohen, have turned to doctors in Israel for help. The doctors have offered a solution that is nearly impossible.

Upon expert medical advice, Moshe has been referred for complex surgery to Dr. Warren Snodgrass. Based in Texas, Dr. Snodgrass is a world renowned urologist, an expert at this type of pediatric surgery. Only in Texas will the two-month-old Moshe be able to undergo successful surgery to enable him to lead a normal life. Corrective surgery is necessary as soon as possible, ideally at the age of 6 months. Now Moshe is two months old, the Cohens have 4 months in which to raise the immense sum needed for surgery. Save Moshe's life now!

Moshe will require two, perhaps even three, surgeries before he is a year old. The surgeries are extremely complicated, as they deal with an extremely sensitive part of the body. In this video, Moshe's mother describes their situation. Her calm demeanor belies the pain that she feels on behalf of her firstborn child. The cost of so many surgeries comes to an astronomical $70,000. The Cohens are a young couple: the surgery is far beyond their simple budget.

Tamar, Moshe's mother, has started an emergency fund to pay for life-saving surgery for Moshe. Any mother can relate to her fears for her child's future, the worries over a firstborn and only child are even more heartbreaking.

4. CHIEF RABBI CALLS DISENGAGEMENT 'DISGRACE TO STATE OF ISRAEL'
by Arutz Sheva Staff

Rabbi David Lau, the Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel, visited the Gush Katif Museum in Jerusalem for the first time Monday.

The Gush Katif Museum commemorates the Jewish communities of Gaza which were destroyed as part pf the the 2005 Disengagement Plan, which ended all Jewish life in Gaza.

Rabbi Lau strongly criticized the Disengagement. "It's sad that the situation has not changed. This is one of the disgraces of the State of Israel. People to whom a commitment was made that new homes would be built for them, and in the end were left in this situation. It's a disgrace and and a shame. I am here and again feel the pain and feeling of those days. People who lost everything they have, and yet they got up and built homes and the spirit continues."

5. AFTER DECADE BUILDING FREEZE, FLAGSHIP SETTLEMENT TO GROW BY 65%
by David Rosenberg

After roughly a decade without new housing construction, the town of Beit El is about increase in size by as much as 65%, with the construction of a new neighborhood promised as compensation for the demolition of 30 housing units six years ago.

Home to some 6,000 people and the Beit El Yeshiva network, Beit El is often referred to as the 'flagship' community of the settlement enterprise, and its growth – or lack thereof – has been seen by many within the movement as a barometer of the vitality of the effort to settle Judea and Samaria.

Once a fast-growing town which drew young couples, Beit El's growth has slowed to a crawl in recent years following a de facto building freeze. Over the past decade, not a single new housing unit has been approved in Beit El, and the number of homes has actually decreased.

In 2012, in keeping with a Supreme Court order, the Netanyahu government demolished 30 homes in what was known as the Ulpana neighborhood of Beit El. As part of an agreement with Beit El leaders, Netanyahu vowed to build a new neighborhood in Beit El with 300 housing units, to be built on the old Border Police base within the town.

Six years later, the Prime Minister's promise still has not materialized, though by this July it appeared that the new homes would finally be marketed and built.

According to a report by Israel Hayom on Tuesday, however, the new neighborhood in Beit El will include not only the 300 housing units promised by Netanyahu in 2012, but approximately 650 new homes.

When completed, the new neighborhood is expected to increase the population of Beit El, which currently includes just under 1,000 homes, by some 65%.

The expanded housing project received approval from the Housing Ministry.

"This is a real cause for celebration for the residents of Beit El and the entire settlement enterprise," said Beit El mayor Shai Alon.

"Thanks to our determined efforts, the town will soon expand with hundreds of new homes and thousands of new residents. This is a great gift on the eve of the new year [Rosh Hashana]."

6. REPORT: 'DEAL OF THE CENTURY' TO BE UNVEILED NEXT MONTH
by Gary Willig

The Trump Administration will unveil its long-awaited Middle East peace plan next month, according to a report by Palestinian Authority newspaper Al Quds.

The plan, which President Donald Trump has dubbed the 'Deal of the Century,' will reportedly be unveiled during Trump's speech to the UN General Assembly on September 25.

The plan was drafted by US Special Envoy to the Middle East Jason Greenblatt and Trump's advisor and son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas has refused to consider the Trump administration an honest broker for negotiations since Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital last December.

PA officials have repeatedly rejected the Trump administration's peace proposal, claiming it was coordinated with Israel.

Last week, Jason Greenblatt wrote on his Twitter account that "No one will be fully pleased with our proposal, but that is the way it must be if real peace is to be achieved. Peace can only succeed only if it is based on realities."

7. WITHOUT A DEAL, ISRAEL WILL END UP WITH 'MOHAMMAD' AS PM
by David Rosenberg

Israel is in danger of losing its Jewish majority and character as a Jewish state if no peace deal is reached between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, Jordan's King Abdullah II recently told President Donald Trump, Israeli media reported Sunday night.

In response, Trump replied that in the absence of a final status agreement, Israel would likely have an Arab prime minister.

According to a report by Channel 10 Sunday evening, the discussion took place during President Trump's meeting with King Abdullah at the White House on June 25th.

The comments were made in private, but were shared by King Abdullah with France's Foreign Minister, Jean-Yves le Drian earlier this month, Channel 10 claimed.

The report was confirmed, Channel 10 said, by US and Israeli officials.

"Many young Palestinians no longer want two states," King Abdullah is quoted as telling President Trump during the White House meeting. "They want one state with equal rights. The result would be Israel losing its Jewish character."

President Trump said, somewhat jokingly the report claimed, that "there's logic in that."

"In a few years Israel will have a prime minister named Muhammad."

The president also told the Hashemite monarch that his administration was best suited for achieving a final status agreement between Israel and the PA.

"I want to advance a peace agreement in the Middle East because if my administration can't get a deal, no administration can."

King Abdullah balked at the prospect of a new US-backed peace plan, given the current regional tensions.

"Don't present the plan now; there are too many difficulties right now," Abdullah is quoted as saying.

8. WHEN ALBERT EINSTEIN WROTE TO THE REBBE
by Chaim Lev

The King David auction house sold a letter that was sent a decade before the Holocaust by physicist Albert Einstein to the Sadigura Rebbe.

The subject of the letter is the rescue of Jews from the death penalty imposed upon them by the Russian government.

The letter was written in Berlin and bears the date 11/13/1930. It was typed on a typewriter in German and signed in Einstein's handwriting.

Apparently, Einstein was asked by the Rebbe to help him release two Jewish women from a death sentence imposed on them in Soviet Russia.

In the letter, Einstein expresses his willingness to help but is skeptical about the benefit his intervention will bring. This is because his relations with the Russian government were undermined recently after he signed an open protest against the execution of dozens of innocent people.

In addition, Einstein openly opposed the tyrannical government, in an article published in the United States.
